Stunning antique Chinese blue and white porcelain Kamcheng jar/planter bowl, late 19th to early 20th century (Qing to early Republic era). Beautiful underglaze cobalt blue decoration featuring a central longevity/happiness medallion (stylized shou character) encircled by graceful fern-like floral tendrils and scrolling foliage—traditional symbols of prosperity, nature, and good fortune. Two side lug/ear handles for easy handling/display. Open-top form, perfect as a decorative planter, cachepot, or shelf accent in Chinoiserie or Asian-inspired decor. Approx. measurements: 8.5 inches wide (including handles) x 6 inches high. Condition: Pristine—no cracks, chips, crazing, hairlines, or repairs. Taps with a clear, bright ring when flicked on the rim (I'll include a short video demo). Base shows original underglaze blue square workshop mark reading "新龍慶製" (Xin Long Qing Zhi)—a period studio/manufacturer seal typical of export wares from Jingdezhen kilns.
