Offered as an inseparable set, this striking pair of original mixed media canvases by Charlotte-based artist Windy O’Connor showcases her iconic "Chica" series. The larger piece, measuring 24" W x 36" H, and the smaller piece, measuring 18.5" W x 18.5" H, feature bold, neon-bright abstractions of female portraits with oversized eyes, layered textures, and a vibrant palette of pinks, blues, yellows, and reds. Both are signed by the artist— the larger with her full signature in the lower right, the smaller with her initials "WO"—and presented in their original protective plexi cases. The larger work includes a hairline crack in the plexi (as shown in photos), which does not affect the canvas. Limited edition numbers are visible on the reverse (photos attached). These pieces reflect O’Connor’s celebration of women’s strength and beauty, inspired by 1940s-50s icon Carmen Miranda, making them a dynamic addition to any modern art collection.
