Paul Francis Kerr , in addition to the Manhattan Project , was famous for his textbook Optical Mineralogy. He original wrote the book with Austin F. Rogers as Thin Section Mineralogy . Subsequently, in 1942, it was re-issued as a new textbook as principally edited by Professor Kerr. the book is inscribed by Prof. Kerr as PAUL F. KERR , Correction Copy, Dec. 1936 and has notes and changes throughout in his handwriting both on the pages and included notes. Has sticker on spine with PFK on it referencing his personal library. sort of soiled and a little sticky but interior good condition. The original book he used as he Correction copy was the First Ed. third printing of the original Thin -Section Mineralogy book GREAT collectible rarity !
