This auction lot is for a very nice Pair of Piggins. These are modern wooden reproductions made and sold by the Frye's Measure Mill in Wilton, New Hampshire. The Daniel Cragin Mill, known in the twenty-first century as the Frye's Measure Mill, is a historic watermill established in 1858. The mill was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1982. A "piggin" is a small pail, can, or ladle with the handle on the side; a lading-can. Great decor items for anyone wanting a colonial American accent. Small piggin measures about 5.5-inches in diameter and is about 3.5-inches deep. The large piggin measures about 7-inches in diameter and is about 4-iinches deep. Great color on both.
