#155 Classic American Merchandising Spool Cabinet Solid Hardwood Case “J & P Coats Spool Cotton†1890's W. 26 x D.19 x H. 22 inches This Classic American Victorian spool cabinet was originally purchased for display use in the Miller Store in Morrill, Kansas by the great great grandfather of the seller. The case is fronted with six shallow drawers, all of which retain the original contents labels. The back side of the cabinet has in in-set panel decorated with large, bold graphics that read, “J & P Coats Spool Cotton. (see photos). The case has a tight hairline shrinkage crack to the top of the case, a small, missing bit of molding underneath the top, a ding to the inset panel, and one missing pull cap, but is in otherwise strong structural condition. Appraisal value: $795. Please realize that all computer monitors display colors differently.
