10 - Merkel 201E O/U 20ga Shotgun

This beautiful Merkel 201E shotgun is stamped 770 on the back end of the barrel. Shotgun is also stamped with "Gebruder Merkel Suhl" on the left side of the receiver and the barrel is stamped "Nitro" along with the 770 date mark and other armory marks. The woodland scene scroll work alone is incredible and sets this shotgun apart from standard production shotguns. This shotgun has a double trigger, swivel sling eyes on the barrel and butt stock, and an included leather sling and leather barrel tip cover. There is one very minor scratch on the barrel (see pictures) and the stock has minor wear as well. Condition is estimated at 90-95%. KBB of Gun Values posts the values for the 12ga model of this shotgun and adds 50% to that valuation for 20ga shotguns.
