Stunning wood grain adamantine on this Seth Thomas Clock Co. mantle clock! Piece was patented on September 7, 1880 and has survived in very nice condition. Clock has a key, but was not tested. There are two stone pillars on each side of the face that have the appearance of Jade, but they are probably plastic. Face has gold gilt with some wear to the numbers and print. The Seth Thomas “ST†is prominent on the inner clock parts. The adamantine has lived up to its promise of sturdy with just a couple blemishes. See photos, shipping available.
