According to my limited Google search, this was made with mold 15A in 1944 (the mold was made in 1940 and the four dots after the 40 are added to the year). This insulator was used for telephone lines. It is clear with a hint of smokiness, but that may be from use and could be cleaned off. The only issue with this insulator is that it has some rust marks still on it. I was able to clean quite a bit off, but there is still a little bit left. It stands about 3.5" tall.

  9. Craigslist allows you to re-post your ad every 48 hours. Re-post any sooner and your ad may be subject to removal.
