1880 Authentic German Made Solingen Military Sabre by Weyersberg Kirschbaum and Co. Blade is a Cutlass with "M" and "O" on backsword. Blade length is 35 1/2". E.U.B. (United States of Brazil) is stamped on the hilt. Handle length is 5 3/8". There is some pitting inside the handguard. The Scabbard is metal and is stamped with numbers 22 and 254 on alternate side. and has a kink in it on one side about half way down. The kink does not affect the use of the scabbard. Sword is in Very Good condition and and doesn't look like it has ever been sharpened. The scabbard is in good condition with some pitting in places.
