This antique rocking chair has a very dark stain and a woven (with what appears to be wood strips) seat and back. It is a spring operated rocker. It is in great condition with some beautiful patina in areas that tells the story of all the hands that have touched it over its many years! The accompanying ladder back chair has a lighter stain and a similar woven seat that does have an area on the front corner and at the back that has come loose but it is in otherwise good condition.
