An absolutely gorgeous piece with handpainted scenes and 24k gold paint. Since the law required the country of origin to be an English word, the use of "Nippon" was forbidden from 1921 on. The period between the passage of the McKinley Act in 1890 and the English word ruling in 1921 is the only time "Nippon" appeared in authentic marks. There is crazing, mostly on the bottom, which is customary with a piece this old. This one is the style they used in 1890 and the family it belonged to verified that.

- Add your email address and keep it anonymous to prevent spam.
- Copy & Paste the html code below into the Posting Description text box.
- Click Continue to add photos and publish your sale. You will receive a confirmation email from Craigslist to verify the sale. Activate your sale by clicking the link in your email and your done!
- Craigslist allows you to re-post your ad every 48 hours. Re-post any sooner and your ad may be subject to removal.
