Up for sale is this beautiful antique french buffet/sideboard. This buffet/sideboard was made by Bardi, who was a fine cabinetmaker in France for many years. It is around the turn of the 20th century. The wood is mahogany. The marble is a rosine marble and has very pretty coloring with bronze running through it. It has very intricate inlays of ebony and satinwood or pearwood. There are gold gilt bronze ormalu accents and pulls. The top of the cabinet has bow glass windows and doors. The bottom cabinet has 2 locking doors over two drawers. Inside the cabinet is one shelf. The buffet/sideboard is branded on the back in two places with the makers mark.
