This crate has metal hinges and handwritten address on the lid, as well as, stenciled writing to the front and sides which reads, “240 cartridges cal. .50†and “Incendiary MIâ€. The address on the lid belonged to the Scallon Supply Co., a machine shop and industrial supplies company located on Gilbert Avenue in Cincinnati, OH.
