This Colt Frontier Six Shooter revolver, serial number 298089, does not have the caliber on the frame or barrel, but the cylinder holds a .38 cartridge. We did not have a .44-40 cartridge to gauge it with. This item was manufactured in 1907 according to the Colt website.
