Looks like a William Fetner chair ( unmarked) Some wear but solid Beautiful Mid Century Modern 1950-1960’s William Fetner American made pine wood Fireside Keyhole chair. It Does NOT has the impressed mark on the bottom of the seat So may not be an original, it is In great original condition with no repairs and still solid. Nice patina. Normal wear and scuffs. Chair measures 42” tall with seat measuring 13.5” wide. William Fetner furniture was made in Hamlet, North Carolina from the early fifties through part of the sixties. William Fetner, himself, was a WWII veteran and a pilot who flew many successful missions. He was a designer and researched “Early American designs”. William Fetner, Inc. also produced sailmaker’s and cobbler’s benches, butler’s tables, dry sinks, dining tables, captain’s chairs, trestle tables with benches and many other products!
