Pendant is 2.75" across Crafted in sterling silver, the impressive 3-dimensional pendants is quite substantial in size and bold in appearance. A wide, flared "saucer" forms the top, with a rough cut iron pyrite stone at the center. TThe pyrite is dark with a metallic gold finish, adding a textured and "industrial" quality to the design. Swedish-born silversmith Owe Johansson began producing jewelry in 1965 in Sigtuna. At the forefront of the Modernist Scandinavian movement, his designs incorporated abstract shapes, raw stones or gems, and a textured organic style often referred to as bold, rugged and even "brutal."
