All hand forged with fancy twist-iron frame and and dresses with hanging loops and hooks. Interesting history of this rare piece… In 1789 during the French Revolution the fleur de lis, royal symbol of the Crown was outlawed to be displayed. Wrought iron Fleur-de-lis flourishes on the rack (see photos) were consequently cut to ovoid suggesting any allegiance to the crown. CIRCA: 1780s 69 X 39 Inches APPRAISAL: $ 1,800.
