Very rare "B & S" (Brown and Simmon of Boston, Mass.) Round Hand Made Wood Dining Table made in the Late 1800's / 'EARLY' 1900's! Brown and Simmon were determined to make tables that would compete with the SUPER QUALITY of the STICKLEY furniture during the Arts and Crafts era!! ( 1890-1920). This American beauty was made in a rare manner which shows the early craftmanship of this era! The table top measures 59 1/2" across and is SOLID 3/4" Dark Wood with the older style of tongue and groove joinery. The table comes with one 10" leaf and any good woodworker could easily make more ten inch wide leaves, which would make this table an extremely large dining table. To see the age of this beauty turn it upside down and observe all the splined construction of the pedestal.
