This is a 2017-P Frederick Douglass National Historic Site quarter (America the Beautiful series) graded PCGS MS65 – a solid gem uncirculated example from regular circulation strikes. The 2017-P ATB quarters are notably low-mintage (Philadelphia business-strike mintage only 1.48 million per design – among the lowest in the entire 2010–2021 series), and high-grade survivors are genuinely scarce. Most were released into circulation, so clean, mark-free examples above MS64 are hard to find. The Frederick Douglass issue is one of the most popular designs in the series due to its historical significance and striking portrait. In MS65, it shows full original cartwheel luster, sharp details, and only minor scattered ticks consistent with the grade.
