This is the official 1985 U.S. Mint “American Eagle / Double Eagle Bicentennial” bronze medal (38 mm, designed by Marcel Jovine and Elizabeth Jones) struck to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the American Eagle symbol. Although originally sold by the Mint in large numbers, most examples remain dull brown or have been cleaned. Coins and medals that have developed vivid, original golden-orange to electric gold end-of-roll or bag toning (like this piece) are highly sought after by toning enthusiasts and medal collectors.

- Craigslist allows you to re-post your ad every 48 hours. Re-post any sooner and your ad may be subject to removal.
