20th Century Antique Italian Walnut Rosewood & Marquetry Cylinder Bureau Writing Desk. Decorated borders, the fall with oval figural roundel and enclosing a fitted interior with sliding writing surface and 4 drawers. 5 drawers about the arched kneehole with square tapered legs. Approximate Size: 38”" x 22" x 40.5” “In amazing antique condition. I attempted to show photos of the general marks and scratches consistent with age allover. Some molding missing around tapered legs on 3 of 4 legs (I have a couple of pieces that you can glue back on). Backside has a couple of nicks and scrapes. There are a few long cracks that you can see in the photos. One on the side and 2 on the writing surface - when you pull out the desk you can see on the underside that they go all the way thru to the other side. That being said they look like scratch marks on the top surface. The piece is still very sturdy. Water cup mark and scuffs on very top of piece.
