This beautifully crafted and carved furniture is a large solid wood roll top two piece desk. The upper portion is a glass door cabinet with three shelves. Both it and the desk it sits on have locks but no keys are included. The desk is very unique in that the leather covered writing area pulls out approximately 6”. The drawers are locked shut when this section is pushed back but if you pull it out an inch or more, the drawers miraculously unlock! Drawers on the left side are a little sticky to open, but just a tad. A few knicks and a mark on the roll top are shown in pics. Estate owner states this was imported from Scotland but no authentication included. Although these pieces can be moved separately for transport, the desk itself is extremely heavy. Measures - 51” x 9.5” x 43”H - Upper unit 54” x 31” x 48”H - Desk Local Pickup Only. Item located near to front door with just one step to access short path to driveway. Winning bidder must bring assistance to help move and load this item due to its weight and/or size. Thursday pick up only.
