This lot contains a vintage white porcelain Owen’s Illinois RX mortar and pestle with gold embellishments and well as three medical themed books and a selection of jewelry. The mortar and pestle measures 6”D at the mouth and stands 7”H. The pestle measures 2” x 8”. There is some tape residue on the side of the mortar. Of the books there is a copy of ‘Dorland’s Illustrated Medical Dictionary’ by W.B Saunders Company, ‘A Sketch of Medicine and Pharmacy’ by Samuel Evans Massengill M.D., and Kremers and Urdang’s ‘History of Pharmacy’. Lot also features a cufflink and tie clip set, Pharmacy Postage Stamp and flask pins. Shipping available.
