In this lot are two Johnsons Dictionaries and two antique English books. The Johnsons Dictionaries are volumes one and two of the English language series. 1820 is printed at the bottom of the title page. They are very old and feature beautiful artwork and designs throughout. They extensively cover the English language of the time over the course of two books. The other two books are smaller books also pertaining to the English language. One is "Life of Samuel Johnson", and the other is an appendix of rules and observations of the English language (the handwritten note says first edition 1806). It features a piece of leather binding the spine. Shipping available.
