This set was introduced by Riverside Glass Works in 1897. It is deep emerald green in color, and features intricate relief scrolls and gold gilded (flashed) accents. The set includes a master berry bowl, and five smaller individual berry bowls. There are minor areas of gilding loss, but no obvious chips or cracks. According to records, this is a “Fish #14” model produced by Erven Lucas Bols. It is a nice piece of mid-century barware. These animal miniatures were produced in the 1950s and the 1960s. Includes a “Steelcane” bait casting rod, and a Heddon split bamboo rod. Total of two rods. The Steelcane rod is one piece, 5’, and 14 gram weight. It has a cork handle, agate stripping guides, and nickel silver hardware. It is hand signed, with the serial number 36090. The Heddon rod is two pieces, 58”L, and has a cork handle. The downlocking reel seat mechanism is often referred to as the “Heddylin” seat. The patent number 1624052 was granted on April 12, 1927. It appears that two of the agate and silver nickel eyes are missing. [DB] -
This vintage aviation piece features an early American Airways logo on the reverse. The mechanism and flint need to be addressed to make this work correctly. This watchmaker/clockmaker was an award winner at multiple World Exhibitions in the 19th century, as indicated on the stamp. This piece has a nice patina, and a pristine white dial/face. There are some minor flea bites to the beveled glass in the tip right corner. There are no other issues to note. The mercury is intact in the pendulum. Includes the original key.
