Wu was born into an academic family, and began writing poems and carving seals at a young age. Wu did not start painting until the age of 30, at the encouragement of Ren Bonian. Frame measures approximately 32 inches wide by 26 inches tall and between 1 and 1 1/2 inches deep. The framed artwork has picture wire attached by eye screws and is ready to hang.
