W. BENNETT BERRY W. Bennett Berry received his undergraduate degree from Denison University in Granville, Ohio and his Masters of Fine Art from The University of Oklahoma. While working towards the degree of bachelor of fine arts at Denison, Berry was honored with the Alumni Award as well as the Caroline Woodrow Deckman Scholarship for Achievement in the Fine Arts. At Denison, Berry was introduced to painting under the study of nationally recognized artist George Bogdanovitch. Prior to Denison, Berry worked with Steve McConnell at Bishop McGuinness High School in Oklahoma City. Over the summer of 2001, Berry painted under the supervision of Pacific coast artist Lenny Pitkin in Pont Aven, Brittany at the prestigious Pont Aven School of Art. In fall 2005, Southwest Art recognized Bennett Berry in their annual "21 Under 31" as one of 21 up-and-coming artists across western America. In addition, Berry's work entitled "I Make This Look Cool" was selected as one of four pieces under $5000 to start your collection with.
