AUCTION BILL C.1945. Back in the day, these “notice of auction” bills were posted in local businesses, on light poles & fences and anyplace the auctioneer thought it might be seen. They were printed on ‘newsprint’ paper. These are extremely rare to find as they would be torn down and thrown away after the auction date. This one is about 22"x14". It has been folded but is in incredibly good condition and suitable for framing. 516 / 1536 sold -

They were printed on ‘newsprint’ paper. These are extremely rare to find as they would be torn down and thrown away after the auction date. This one is even more RARE because it was printed in “two color” (black & red) which was even rare back in the day because it cost more than black on white printing. This one is about 18"x12". It has been folded and is a little tattered at the bottom edge, but is in incredibly good condition and suitable for framing. 518 / 1536 sold -
