Melody Kiper and Thatcher Estate Sales are the best! After my husband died, I never thought I could get out from under all of his collections and memorabilia that he had been saving most of his life. It was hard enough to think about downsizing and selling my house but tackling all of the stuff was completely overwhelming. Once I moved out with only the things I wanted to keep, Melody and her awesome team came in and handled absolutely everything. They methodically organized it all into categories and began the huge process of cleaning each item to showcase. There was so much to unload, she had to have 3 different sales on 3 different weekends to be able to have enough space to sell everything. It was a monumental job that included kitchen and household items, keepsakes and collections, furniture, jewelry, artwork, pottery, books, garage and outdoor items, and several cars.Nelle Barlow Lloyd
The amount of research Melody did prior to the sales was also quite impressive. Throughout the whole process, I felt like Melody was doing everything possible to sell everything and to get the best prices that she could. Overall, I was totally pleased how everything was handled and with the success of those sales. Melody’s knowledge and experience, attention to detail, and care for me and my personal situation, combined with her personal relationships with experts and serious collectors and her large customer database were key to the success of those sales.
