About Taos Estate Sales
Ron Usherwood and Dancer Dearing of Taos Black Dog combine integrity and sensitivity with hard work and organization. We work with our client's individual needs to make the process of settling an estate as effortless as possible. We can offer the peace of mind that your family will receive competitive and fair valuation of estate items. We also consign items in our online stores and or facilitate the donation of any unsold merchandise, leaving the house empty, clean and ready for the next step.

All sales take place as online auctions that have a local, regional and worldwide following.
Here is what we do:
Appraisal, Inventory & Pricing
Separation of items by category:
Items to be kept by owner
Items to be set aside for family or friends
Items to be sold in separate venue, i.e.; auction, on-line, consignment, etc.
Items to be donated to charity
Items to be disposed of
Contract with disposal company if needed
Make arrangements for donations to be picked up before and/or after sale
Preparation of items to be sold and property where sale is to be held
Advertising of sale as applicable in print, on Taos Estate Sales website, on-line sales sites and announcement pages, directional signs, etc.
Hire all necessary sales personnel as needed by each individual sale
Conduct the sale on the date and time established with the client
Assess sale and reconcile inventory
Manage and oversee removal and dispersal of all unsold items as established in the contract.
Manage and oversee cleaning of the property in its entirety or as established in the contract
Removal of all Taos Estate Sale items for sale support
Provide a final report of all sales & dispersal of items & cut a check for the client.
