AP AUCTIONS AND ESTATE SALES has been around unofficially since 1997. It started when my father was hosting his annual year-end clearance auction at his high end home furnishings gallery. His auctioneer he was flying in from Texas had double booked the dates and did not show up the day of the auction. It pushed me to go up and cry the auction. Keep in mind I had never cried an auction before nor did I know how to other than watching other auctioneers over the years. My roll came naturally as I knew the product we were selling and consumers trusted what I was selling. We had our second highest grossing day ever and on that day, an auctioneer was born. Since then, I've gone on to be licensed in over 30 states and have become the GO-TO source for home furnishing retailers to help liquidate and auction off their assets.
Fast Forward to 2020, a friend of mine asked if I knew any companies to help her with her and her husbands residence. They had just sold their property and were moving to Florida and wanted to sell EVERYTHING. I thought about it and realized most of my crews were grounded due to Covid so I figured, why not? We have the manpower and if we can liquidate businesses with $20,000,000 in revenue, why can't we sell off a household of furniture? So we did and that was BIG success! We have since performed over a dozen estate sales primarily focusing on the higher end sector.
We have fun with what we do and when you attend one of our sales, they are REAL SALES. The only thing we add to sales may be leftover or unsold furniture from a previous estate sale that a home owner had consigned to us to get rid of the rest of their belongings.
