1920’s Hydrometer in Original Wooden Tube Case. Standard Model made by T. J. Howe & Co. Louisville, Ky. This is from an estate where the owner's father actually used them while he was employed by Park & Tilford for 40 years. P & T was bought out in 1958 by Schenley and then by Guinnes Brewing Co. in 1987, who eventually sold the brand to Diageo which owns the brand today. A great Bourbon historical piece. A must have for a serious bourbon collector, especially paired with the dual thermometer in this sale.
