The Golden Horse Lounge and Restaurant was a quasi-famous Louisville landmark frequented by locals and visitors during the 1950 - 70s. It was located at 637 South 4th Street and was distinct as it had a large gold horse statue atop its entrance. It was said to have produced a mean Mint Julep Cocktail and is noted in its later years for being one of the first such facilities to openly welcome a gay/lesbian clientele. The glass measures about 5-inches tall X 2.5-inches in diameter. It is nicely frosted and the green screening is in excellent condition. Made by Federal Glass Company. Reserve/Starting Bid is $10.
