Exceptional stylish transitional sideboard from the Metropolitan Collection by John Black for Councill Furniture. The doors of the Epps Sideboard are distinctive with quartered, diamond patterns of Ribbon-Stripe Mahogany veneer with Macassar Ebony inlaid borders. Two pull out trays are behind the center doors of this breakfront form. There is open storage behind the end doors. Square tapered legs terminate with polished brass sabots. Polished brass knobs accent each of the doors. Superb condition.
