A very rare exquisite find of old Japan from the 1930's . Very very collectible.
All hand carved and hand painted mini figurines of Warriors, musicians and court jesters.. Each one is signed Japan on the bottom. The loops I believe are bakelite and tin , the closure I believe is gold plated.There are also 3 earings for change and 3 extra figurines.between the figurines there are solid tubes of I believe bakelite and celluloid. 1930's Japan celluloids are the most sought off and collectible especially that ones that were not made for export.. This belonged to a Chinese diplomat living in Kyoto Japan by the Gion District. In very good vintage condition have some formed patina but that is the magic of these art. There are 22 figurines, 5 tubes besides the loop bakelite and tin.
