A historic Roanoke home. Originally built by David W. Flickwir, pioneer resident of Roanoke and member of the Board of Directors of Norfolk and Western Railway. Flickwir was also dubbed the “Greatest Benefactor” of the then Roanoke Hospital, and the Flickwir Memorial Unit building still stands. More recently, this wonderful property was owned by the late S. Ronald Owens, Vice President of Owens & Company Realtors, thus continuing its legacy of housing renowned Roanoke residents.
