The Carter and Anderson family were long time residents of East Dallas, Mesquite, and Sunnyvale. Roy Carter was well known in the sports world from the 1940's through to the early 1970's. His entire family worked along side him every weekend, running concessions at the Devil's Bowl Speedway and then owning the track.
