We feel blessed to have in our possession a few hand painted GOLD IMARI plates from Japan. These belong to an Austin estate of a Japanese woman who came to the states with her American husband in the 70's. She brought with her, all of her belongs and it was obvious that she liked to surround herself with beautiful items, like these plates.

If you search online, you will see hand painted plates that are "Imari style" and they are inspired by the work of this brand.
