I love the way our grandmothers held  on to  meaningful treasures. A vase, a salt and pepper shaker, china and aprons. Women of yester year taught us how to be ladies and many valuable skills like cooking, canning and sewing. Meals carefully prepared and served at a dining room table that made us recall holiday meals in those moments when we miss them so very much.
