Huge Columbia sale for the estate of the late Thomas Wayne Massey and his wife of 65 years, Nora Ann Compton Massey.
The Massey’s traveled the world during his extensive military and government service and accumulated several pristine collections. While working for the U.S. Dept. of State they made their homes in the U.S. embassies in the countries of Iran, Pakistan, Africa and Hungary. Other countries toured include Thailand, Austria & Germany. The children tell the story of how Ann had to “grab the Persian Rugs” before boarding a flight out of Tehran while Tom was on the last flight out of the country before the embassy was overrun in 1979.
The collections tell stories you won’t want to miss!
