Living Estate Sale of Joyce Michaud, a noted ceramicist and founder of the MFA program at Hood College-

This is the home of Joyce Michaud a locally based award winning ceramic artist. This is the sale for contents of the home. 

EstateMAX is conducting the sale over two separate weekends in January and February. This presently advertised January weekend is household and various artist's fine art contained in the home- and also items in the shed (including a zero turn mower and golf cart) as well as items on patio and behind studio. The Valentine Day Second weekend in February 13-15th opening up the ceramic arts studio and gallery, selling all pieces and equipment therein.

The ceramics inside the home are sold this weekend. All are priced starting at $15 to $500 a few higher. Everything will be discounted as the weekend progresses but SHOP EARLY FOR BEST SELECTION. VOLUME CERAMICS PURCHASES WILL BE DISCOUNTED REGARDLESS OF WHEN THEY ARE PURCHASED. ( Volume is defined as over $100 sticker price)

'Ms. Michaud is a former professor at Hood College founding directory of the M.F.A, M.A and Graduate Certificate in Ceramic Arts.Her work is represented in numerous public and private collections including the Wuxi Museum of Art ion Yixing China and the permanent colletion of the Smithsonian American Art Museum's Renwick Gallery. In 2020 she was recognized by the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts with an Excellence in Teaching Award for her contributions to the ceramic arts. She is a member of the Frederick County Arts Hall of Fame."

(The gallery full of finished pottery and a large volume of Studio materials including clays, glazes, potter's wheel, other equipment, unglazed pottery, shelving, etc will be sold over the February weekend. The studio will not be open to the public on this January weekend.)

Studio lighting, cameras, enlarger and all photo equipment will be sold from the home in January as well as oversized paintings, framed etchings, drawing art materials and supplies, etc.
