Artist Information

Edna Hibel, a painter of sentimental pictures of children, has had a more than 60-year career as painter and lithographer and promoter of peace through exhibitions of her artwork. She was born in 1917 in Boston, Massachusetts. She organized the Edna Hibel Museum of Art, in Jupiter, Florida, to display and promote her work and also created a United Nations stamp, "Mother Earth."

Marisol Bustamante was born in Cordoba, Spain in 1964.   Raised on a family farm with her seven siblings, she spent most of her early childhood drawing and painting.   In 1983, her talent apparent, Bustamante's teachers advised her to continue her studies at the Facultad de Bellas Artes in Seville.   In 1988, she received her degree in Fine Arts, specializing in art restoration, and begun working on her doctorate.   For five years Bustamante worked throughout Spain on many restoration projects, such as the San Isidro Church(XIV) in Seville, and the restoration of murals in the Guadaloupe Monastry in Caceres.

Colin Maxwell Parsons was born in Birmingham, England in 1936 and became a professional artist in 1969. Prior to devoting all of his efforts into art, Parsons worked as an engineer with the British army, where he was called to serve with the infantry in Egypt, Cyprus and Northern Ireland.
