Signed limited edition of Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám, translated by Edward Fitzgerald and illustrated by Willy Pogány (1930). This edition was limited to 750 copies for England and 500 copies for the United States; this is copy No. 200 of the American issue. Condition: binding shows rubbing, spotting, and stains; pages with toning, some foxing, and margin water-stains (see photos). All plates remain bright and intact. Willy Pogány (1882–1955) is regarded as one of the great illustrators of the early 20th century, and his editions of Rubáiyát are among his most celebrated works.
