This large (113" x 94") antique Aubusson style needlepoint rug is actually quite beautiful. Has a few losses mostly near the edges where furniture would be placed over it. Has been rolled up and could use some airing and a clean to get the dust out. This rug is as good as many I've seen at local plantation homes and historic houses. Definitely 19th century - lovely pattern. Hard to photograph so we hung it over the balcony. The dust really flew but if you gave it a gentle vaccuming and took it for a light clean you would really have a nice rug.
