Shotgun Features: • Single-shot break-action shotgun • Serial number- C601350. • The actual age of this firearm is unknown. • Made in Canada • History: The Winchester Model 37 was an American break-action single-shot shotgun produced by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company from 1936 to 1963. One of Winchester's better selling products, the Model 37 was a low-cost single-shot shotgun that was quite popular. The Model 37 was a break-action single-barrel shotgun with an exposed hammer. This exposed hammer earned the Model 37's hammer the nickname of Pigtail due to its resemblance to one. The weapon was constructed mostly out of steel, which earned it the nickname, “Steelbiltâ€. • No case is included. Dimensions: • 26†barrel • 3†chamber • Length of pull: 12.5†Condition: Good cosmetic condition. Some minor scratches are visible on the woodwork and some wear on the lacquer in spots is apparent. We noticed a small amount of corrosion on the RH side of the receiver.
