66"h x 38"w (with frame)--in the early 1970s, right after China opened, this family took a trip to China and purchased this beautiful painting. You really have to see this one in person, as it was very hard to photograph and the pictures do not do it justice. At the bottom of the painting is a cluster of tree peony bushes in red, white and pink and clouds of vibrant butterflies extending up to the sky. The scroll is edged in pale blue silk and it is in a simple black frame. There is no fading or cracking and it has always been hung in indirect light, so it is as bright as the day it was painted. It's a stunner and will create a fabulous focal point for any room.
