This is where it all started with these basic die-cast and plastic engines and switches. Many of these are from the post-war era and some more modern. They are all in various states of use and function. Those that run are noisy and growl a bit, like the 4-6-4 #2055, the Army switcher and the Jersey Central unit. The small #520 boxcab electric and the NYC 2-6-2 #675 did not run at all. The GE 44 ton switcher #627 and the Lionel 6-8-6 #2020 started and ran on the layout but with limited function. This is a great lot for people who like to tinker and bring old classics back to life. The Army switcher is 7" x 2.5" x 3.5"H and the 4-8-4 measures 19" x 3" x 3"H. See photos for details. Any train tracks shown in photos are not included but are available in another lot in this sale.
