This polished ebony piano is an absolute stunner, complemented with cherry wood and brass accents. Research indicates Bernhard Steiner began manufacturing in Germany in the late 1880s, before transitioning to South Africa in the 1940s, and eventually being acquired by Korean manufacturer, Samick in the late 1990s or early 2000s. During this phase, it is possible that the pianos were made by Young Chang. This specific piano has had a single owner and was purchased roughly 20 years ago, with its most recent tuning 5 years ago. Notably, the piano has been kept in pristine condition, displayed in a clean, climate controlled, smoke free environment. In my assessment, as someone not highly familiar with pianos, this instrument is truly exceptional, boasting a glossy ebony finish and wood grain keys that render it a standout statement piece. Dimensions: 48"H x 59"L x 24"D Model # BWV121SD Serial # JK100123 All Renner action, Millenium Console This lot includes the piano and bench. Buyer is responsible for relocating the piano.
