soldThis auction lot is for a group of 5 unique Sewing Scissors. The 1st is a Gingher #6 and the 2nd is a Gingher #5. Gingher shears debuted in 1947 as a premier tool in the textile industry. By 1965, technology and top-notch engineering propelled these shears into an echelon of their own, with unsurpassed craftsmanship and quality. The #5 in this auction comes with a leather protective sleeve. Gingher Scissors are made in Greensboro, NC. The 3rd scissor is a 5 1/4-inch Diane from Solingen, Germany, the remaining two are classic thread clippers with the plastic-handled one from Wiss Scissors and the other is a stainless steel Compton-U-Set model
