German family chronicle in b/w snapshots from the 1930s to the 1950s...Near as I can tell it begins in the small town of HeuerBen, Germany in Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen)...many of the 200 photos are in the country..a few nice shots of what looks like a 1930 NSU Wanderer motorcycle...then several VW Beetles which would date those shots to the later 1940s...Views of Goslar's Imperial Palace Kaiserpfalz..Lindenfels is here..the Waterlooplatz in Hanover recalling the defeat of Napoleon..Landscape and family snaps...then Hamburg and the unidentified ship that took them to New York City circa 1951..more car and city shots...The Broadway show I AM CAMERA was open...I do not know the connection but there is a photo or two of an Exxo tanker as well as the then newly constructed ESSO Building at 100 park Avenue,,,after NYC several pictures of Utah and Salt Lake City..This Is The Place Monument...This original album takes you from Europe to the American West...Good condition...As shown...10.75 x 9.5 x 1.5"...about 20 photos loose the rest in album are mounted.
